1.6 update for North Texas?

When I was trouble shooting an issue with helpdesk (seems a lot of my posts start that way) he told me that it looks like I would be getting the 1.6 push on 10/22, then he kind of chuckled and said not to write that date in stone. Being that it now past midnight on the 23rd and there is no push any one have any possible information about the 1.6 push for Texas from a verified source?

1.6 Is now offical in TX I will be posting more on this in a Sticky later this afternoon

yeah I found that out when at 3 am the STB turned on and had left my sound system on. Not a good way to wake up in the morning.
