7216 HD/SD switching problem

Hi.  I'm having a problem with my 7216 STB.  When I leave the "on demand" (SD) section and move back to a current channel (HD) the picture starts flickering and the STB stops accepting commands from the remote (a frozen state).  It's unusable after it goes into this state and the only way out of it is I have to reboot the box by unplugging it. 

My connection setup:

Motorola 7216 > Yamaha receiver > Samsung TV (set to "just scan")

Try setting the SD Override to Off in the 7216's  Settings--->Video settings menu. Seems to work for a lot of issues.
