7232 box caller id?

I just got my 7232 box, and I am trying to get the caller id to work, but there is no phone port on it. I currently do not digital voice associated with my fios.  I have the freedom essentials, which uses the regular phone line as opposed to my fiber line.  They told me that the digital voice wasn't available for me.  Can I do Caller ID, or is it transmitted to the 7232 via the coax cable?

You are able to still have FIOS Caller ID on the TV. You need to make sure that on your account,  you have Verizon Call Assistant  You can't have a distinctive ring number on your account and you do not need a phone cord plugged into the Set Top Box.
