Anyone have a clue who to call to correct VZ programming error?

Hi VZ Board Readers,

Although I think I've finally got a good tech support person on my case after seven calls and seven days who's elevated my calls to Tier 3 status, whatever that means, I'm writing this as I'm truly baffled - I ordered the FiOS Extreme HD combo package and the hardware installation went very smoothly - I've got functional phone, net, and TV without any aparent technical issues on signal delivery.

However, in spite of the fact that I ordered the Extreme HD programming package, VZhas been unable to deliver it! I've got some HD channels of course, including the standard package ones and the trial channels, but when I switch to some only offered on the Extreme HD package I get the "Need to call Verizon to change my subscription" message (displayed of course in beautiful HD). But I'm already subscribed to them...

The tech folks have reset the TV box, the FiOs box etc. multiple times, all with the exactly the same result. I'm getting very frustrated (I don't  reset quite as easily) and now I wake up wondering about other TV services (Comcast and Direct are both offered in my region) until VZ get's their tech support together (it seems to be an interdepartmental problem - I'm guessing each department might be thinking it's the other's responsibility).

Any advice on who might help me at VZ if this persists or similar experiences with resolution pathways?

I have checked your TT out and is currently being worked on by our Tier3 guys I'll keep monitoring and will give you an update on when issue is resolved

Honestly if they have not been able to help after 7 calls I would PM. Techman28 on the forums here. I am sure he can fix you up quick

Thanks; very much appreciated. Service was installed on November 22, so I'm hoping that this can be resolved soon.
