Bad HD quality- north jersey

I live in North Jersey (Rutherford, NJ) and have noticed a big decrease in picture qualityn in the past 4 weeks or so.  The picture comes across as grainy and staticy as well as poor feedback when dark colors come on screen.  We have 5 HDTV's in our house and the picture is poor on all of them so it is not the televisions.

Do you have the newer boxes or the older ones?  I brought all of mine to the Paramus store on 17N and they exchanged them for the new black boxes.

Good Morning,

We apologize for the trouble with the picture quality. We can take a look at this for you. I sent you a private message to start.

It sounds like it might be the boxes.  I don't live far from Rutherford and the picture quality on my flatscreen is fine.  My STB is the QIP-7100.  I agree that there is no way it can be the TVs if all 5 of yours have the same exact issue.  But I'm thinking too that it might be some kind of interference on the outside lines in your area or a damaged wire.

i'm actually noticing it on non-FIOS televisions as well.  Seems to be a problem for Northern Jersey at least.
