Cable card TV

I am looking to buy a 32 inch TV and only want to connect it to FIOS with a cable card since I do not need the interactive features but when I went to Best Buy to ask about cable card compatable TV's they did not have any idea what I was talking about. Are there any recommended TV's with cable card slots or should I be looking for a different solution.

If you do a google search, it will result with many hits. But I would not purchase a TV based on the compatability with the CableCard. You would be better off getting one with the best picture and reliability ratings, and if you tried to match that with cable card compatibility, it would probably run up the cost.

Cablecard seems to be a declining option in the pursuit of entertainment. As recently as 2009, the FCC declared it a failure. According to WiKi, there are several follow-on solutions to replace it in the works. The cable TV providers have never really liked it.

I agree with retiredme. But There are many out there forced to be used in STB that the cable companies are being forced to instal, but only 1.2% that consumers are using. I have one in a TiVO, but that is onlt because it is the only option. What happens when the card technology dies off? Read this article.
