Maybe someone can help me? I would like to have A&E removed from my listing. Can someone tell me if I can have this specific channel removed?

Short answer: no.
Verizon, like all cable companies, sells channels in packages. Individual channels cannot be removed or added. If you don't want to get it, you'll have to downgrade to a package that doesn't have it (if one exists). Of course, you'll loose other channels too.
If you don't want to see it, learn how to setup and manage a "favorite" channel list on your set top box. Then, you can include only the channels that interest you.
Good Luck.

No. Channels can not be removed from a package.
If you are referring to the program guide, the answer would still be no.

UYou can remove a channel (or channels) from the program guide (listing lineup) by creating a favorites list that does not include it and setting the guide to that favorites list. Program information will be hidden and surfing through the channel will not include the channel. The only way to access the channel that is not in the favorites list is to tune directly to the channel by entering the channel number.

If the problem is you don't want children to see some channel, consider using the parental controls.

I imagine with the timeliness of the this post the user wants A&E removed because of the Duck Dynasty drama that is going on.

Even if Verizon decided it wanted to they couldn't at this time. The agreements that are made between the channel providers and the various Cable/Satellite providers will not allow it.

If you are saying this because of one program, it might be more powerful to boycott the advertisers of the program.
