Last night we rented a VOD...it then became available for 24 hrs. This morning my kids wanted to watch that VOD (had 6 hrs left) on the TV in their room but that STB couldn't see the recently viewed VOD! When I went into the options I would have had to pay for it again! That makes no sense and destroys the concept of the multi-room DVR! Since I can't record a VOD does any VOD have to be viewed on the same TV from which it was purchased?

The same VOD program can only be watched on the same box. You would have to call Verizon and order it through them and tell them to make it available on all boxes, rather than ordering it through the remote.
