Change scroll direction of channel guide

When I press the Guide button and the channel guide appears the arrow up button scrolls the the focus up, but in fact it goes down one channel number. So if I want to scroll to a higher channel number I have to press the down button. Yes, I know that if I had a list on paper I'd need to go down to see the higher channel numbers, but this is inconsisten behavior. When I do not have the guide displayed and want to move to a higher channel number I have to press the Channel + button to go up.

Is there any way to change the scroll direction of the channel guide?

That operation seems right to me.  The arrows indicate direction of movement, not numerical value. That is consistent with other devices I use.

The +  indicates add. So when viewing channels that would mean increase the channel number.

To answer the original poster's question, no, there is no way to change it.

And I agree with Walt, it works the way I think it should.

Thanks for the quick replies. There are two schools of thought. One is to control the movement of the focus window over a fixed content and the other is to keep the focus window fixed and move the content behind it. Both are as right as they are wrong. So if you think it works as it should is good for you, but in the end means not much because I think it should be different.

Since the answer is no there is not much more to discuss here. Thanks for posting.

The OP might want to post their idea (that you should be able to set the scrolling) on the idea exchange.
