Channel Guide technical issues

Can this be fixed. It has been broke since the Tier lineup change? It just sits there spinning, tech support's answer was to use a zipcode from a different county. Not the right answer. Has anyone else in 20874 or Montgomery County Maryland been able to pull this up with a different zipcode in out county? I have not. The pdf for Washington Metro is there, but it does not allow you to do a side by side comparison of the packages.

That happens to me sometimes, but eventually works. The problem I have is, ever since the package changes, several channels are no longer listed in the zip code lineup and it is very inaccurate. It's missing all the pay channels like Playboy, Here, NHL Center Ice, NBA League Pass, ESPN PPV and they have the International Channels on a differnt link instead of all together like it used to be. I hope someone fixes it back to the way it used to be, it doesn't give the full story of what channels are available on Verizon. Very bad!!

I have tried it again and again and it has not worked for a month. I wanted to see what channels are in Prime HD leave in Extreme HD and then come back in Ultimate HD. Does not seem like channels in a lower tier should drop off in the middle tier and the come back in a higher tier. I did look at Southern Maryland guide as suggested by the CSR, and looked at the PDF, and that looks like what happens. Not fair! Seems like something Comcast would do. I think someone should re think that.

Perhaps it is not like that and the online lineup is flat wrong. But there have been repeated reports of Extreme Customers Losing channels when upgrading there speed. Only to be told the need to pay more for what they have had. In addition the movie channels they may not want.

From a laid back avatar to something really scarey!

Yes, there are a few channels in Prime that aren't in Extreme which makes absolutely no sense at all. There are about 4 of them. Gospel Music Channel, Hallmark Movie Channel SD & HD and the 4th slips my mind.

Hey ya like my Avatar. Scarey Bear? Smiley Very Happy

MGM Movie Channel and Hallmark Movie Chanels. I do not want to pay extra for movie channels and that is why I canceled those packages last year, but it is nice to have those that I watch from time to time. I could say one of the Lifetime channels that my wife watches, but it looks like that one is back. Yes all the .TV channels which are worthless anyway. I guess I could live without the MGM channel but I have become used to watching that one. As long as I lose nothing my wife watches I will have no trouble. Smiley Tongue

Gospel Music, Hallmark Movie SD and HD, BlueHighwaysTV, and Retirement Living are the channels that are only on Prime HD and Ultimate HD. That is one of the worst moves Verizon has made as of late. It doesn't make any sense.

MGM HD is only available on Ultimate HD.

I have the origional extreme package and it DOES include MGM HD. That is the point. If you upgrade to the new extreme package and bundle with a higher internet speed, being the middle tier, you lose channels that are now in the upper Ultimate tier but not on the new extreme. I may at some point just settle and lose those chanels for a faster speed, but I am not ready to do that yet. I guess the new channel line up page is not that important because as mentioned elewhere in this posting, it might not be acurate. Believe the PDF cause that is what is in print and goes to the customers in the mail.
