I currently have a CISCO Multi-room DVR set top box and I use an RF remote and the CISCO set top box does not want to recognize the signal. I know I have the correct code because if I point the remote directly at the box it seems to work. But the set top box won't take the signal from the RF transmitter. Before this set top box, I had a Motorola with Verizon. Has anyone else had an issue with the Cisco set top box when using an RF remote? My set top box is in a closed cabinet, so the CISCO box just won't work. I never had a problem with the Motorola. I would like to switch out to the Motorola. Suggestions are welcome.
