I am a recent Fios TV subscriber and was wondering if anyone in able to confirm Clear QAM suppot in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. I have been unable to receive any channels over the unencrypted stream. I attempted to contact Verizon for assistance, but of course they gave me the usual line of "unsupported".
really I would just like confirmation wether or not they exist for our area. And if not, Why? Is there reason as to why it is shut off in certain areas? I was reading up in the Wikipedia entry for FiosTV, and they state clearQAM is not available in the Pittsburg area. I have to wonder why this is the case. They are paying the same amount for their subscription, seems unfair to limit their options. Almost all new TVs come with clear qam supported now. yet still verizon claims ignorance when you call even to ask about support in your area. Verizon really pushes FiosTV as the "future", but don't even support this widely supported "feature".

Verizon offers SD and HD locals in ClearQAM in all service areas.
You can find the HD locals in the QAM 71-75 range.
