No code was listed to program a Coby TV (I have TFTV1525) to my Verizon remote, and I couldn't find any posts online that helped, so I thought I'd share my experience. I used the procedure for when no code is listed ("922", and then scroll through most common codes), but the best I could accomplish with that method still required my Coby remote for volume control. So I decided to randomly try codes for other "budget" brand TV's and got lucky on my first try! AOC code "0057" worked to control both power and volume. Oddly, I need to press the "A/V" ("Input") button instead of "mute" for mute feature, but I can live with that.
I saw your post and tried what you said about your tftv1525 COby, using code "0057" - I couldn't get it to work. Our Coby remote died and the one they sent won't even turn on the TV. Was there something else special you did with the FIOS remote?
0057 worked for me. And it mutes with the AV button just like you said. Thanks for the tip.
