Every time I record something (particularly when the show is in HD and at least 1hr) and start playing it before it's completed recording I have an issue.
The issue is that the file gets corrupted and I can't finish watching what I was watching. The >FF< slows way down, the picture macro-blocks and then the playback jumps back to a random early spot in the recording.
I usually >pause< during the playback and, of course, >FF< and >30-sec-skip< but I've "lost" at least 5 shows that I wasn't able to finish watching and countless others that I had to watch on-line. I'd venture to say with 50% confidence that when I avoid pausing I don't have this issue.
