Digital ADapter

I have a DVR, Set-Top Box and 2 adapters - one of the adapters keep shutting off and I have to unplug and replug for it to work.  Why is this and how can I correct?

There are no "repairs" or "fixes" for these devices.  You must have it replaced.  Contact Verizon or simply drop by a FiOS store and get another.
