DVR & Set-Top boxes freezing

Since the installation of our FiOS setup, we have had issues with our DVR and set-top boxes freezing, sometimes taking up to 2 minutes to become responsive again.  Sometimes the issue arises by changing the channel, other times accessing the channel listing, DVR, or VoD.  Even when the boxes are working properly, they are INCREDIBLY SLOW.  Hands down the worst interactive service we've ever had.

Customer service has reset our boxes multiple times, without little effect on the issue.  Any suggestions???

If we cannot get this issue resolved we will more than likely cancel our service and migrate to AT&T.

In the other thread a moderator has reported the Verizon FIOS has deployed faulty AD software to set top boxes.  They were going to try to disable this feature on many channels over two weeks but that was a month ago.  So that approach failed.  FIOS will try a software fix sometime between 11/26 and 1/7.  This issue could go on for a while more.
