Steps to duplicate:
1) Play a recored program in DVR,
2) Press 'Pause' button on remote,
3) Press 'Stop' button on remote.
Expected Behavior:
Return to the DVR menu.
Observed Behavior:
Paused program resumes playing.
It can be confusing especially when coming from another provider that did what you expected.
However, you need to look at it this way:
When you press STOP, it stops the current action. STOP while playing stops the playback. STOP while paused stops the pause, returning it to playback. The you have to STOP playback.
It's just one of many things done differently with FiOS.
It's confusing because everyone knows what 'stop' means and it never means 'play' no matter how you manage to rationaize it. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt but I really did wonder if you were trolling me with that answer. It was very creative!
