DVR not recording a series show

I have several shows set up to record weekly. Lately some shows do not record when programed. They don't appear in the scheduled shows either. I can record the show if i locate the show on the guide and then record the shows.

I have also had entire series disappear from the scheduled recordings. I then had to set up the entire show again.

I checked the forums for answers but I didn't locate any answers.

What model DVR do you have?

Have you tried a reboot of the DVR?
