I have been recording a series from network TV listing and watched 4 episodes so far. Went to watch latest episode and it won't play, even though the menu shows that it recorded. When I hit 'play', the recorder exits all the way out to the program in progress with no error, or other messages. any ideas?

It's a well-known error with the current version of the STB software. There are some longer threads on it in this forum, but basically your recording is lost/corrupt and you should just delete it. It happens to me every once in a while, ever since the latest software version came out in December.

I have this same problem periodically and it is really annoying. It has occurred at least twice in the last two weeks. Verizon tech support HELP!
