I just upgraded to quantum, the middle plan where you can record up to 6 programs at once. I've noticed some shows that are recorded are split up into 2 seperate recordings. For example a 1 hour program will show up twice with one at 25 minutes and the other at 35 minutes. When I want to watch it, the first part won't play, like there's nothing there. The second part plays fine. This has happened several times now and it gets annoying. And no, I am not recording 6 shows at once when this happens, usually it's only that one program recording or at most 1 other show recording. Any ideas? After dealing with Verizon customer support in the past, I will try to avoid them. Thanks

Any chance you are losing power somehow during recordings? Usually if loss of power occurs the dvr will pick up recording again which will show in then one recording.
I have had the exact same thing happen on 3 different occasions. Power outage was not the problem because another same recorded at the same time just fine.
Someone tell us why!
