I am having an issue where many of my dvr shows are not recording the last 60sec or so of a show. The listing states the show is a full 60 or 30min show and I am setup to start ans stop ontime in my recoding setup. I'm not sure why this is happening.
It's likely happening because many stations do not start and stop on the hour our halfhour, which is usually how the programming guide lists the programs. Fox is notorious for this. For example, although the guide may say the show ends at 10pm, often it does not, but the DVR only acts on the times that are in the guide. I just add five minutes to those scheduled recordings when experience show they run long. American Idol is a prime example.
