Does anyone here have any experience with both of these products? I have used Media Player and find it to be something of a dog. On the other hand, I don't find some of the comments here on Media Player very encouraging. Any input will be appreciated,
I'm not sure what you are looking to do, but I have a cablecard with tuner card in an htpc (home theatre) windows 7 media center pc, and I use it as a dvr and of course watch other recordings, and access all my media in one place, and across the home network. Works great once you set it up, has more features and runs more smoothly than any dvr.
