I switched a FIOS HDTV DVR box to another room in exchange for another HDTV box. Both were Sony TVs. Neither remote works with the DVR after the switch. I've tried everything that FIOS agent or online tips with no success.
Hi, It sounds like the remote needs to be programmed to the TV's. You can use "In Home Agent" to help you program your remote controls. If you do not have "In Home Agent" just go to: http://www22.verizon.com/residentialhelp/inhomeagent and download and install on your PC. Then go to the video section and click on the remote section and then click on program remote. You can also order a remote here if you find out one of the remotes is not working.
