Most of the posts I see related to the Remote DVR have to do with web access. I can't even find the FIOS TV Remote DVR under the settings on the DVR menu.
I have a Motorola QIP 6416-2 HD DVR., an Action Tec Router.
My FIOS internet is on a separate business account. I have two action tec routers and boxes in my garage.
What other information would be helpful for solving problems?
Thanks,
Maria

Go to http://www.verizon.com/fiostvcentral and click on "My Set-top Boxes" and log in there to activate and use the Web-Remote DVR
Should be no need to do anything special to the DVR its self
IF you are reffering to the Mobile Remote DVR... here is the link for that http://www36.verizon.com/fiostv/web/UnProtected/Mobile/Overview.aspx

I can see all my boxes listed but I can't do anything to manage them.

When you login for the first time, it should have a link to click on to activate the feature... once you click on that, it should advise yu that it can take up to 48 hours for it to activate....
Some people overlook the activation link... so check for it when you login if you have not already activated it
if you have activated it, and it has been over 48 hours and it still does not work, contact tech support, as something may need to be changed, activated or whatnot on their end...

Thanks for replying.
I ran the diagnostics from the help menu as you suggested.
Remote DVR status is Not Applicable (sounds like this might be the root of the problem.)
All other areas (RF connection, Network Connection, EPG Server, Widget Server were successful or have functioning IP addresses.
What do you suggest as a next step?
Thanks, Maria

My last message didn't seem to post.
I have power cycled the DVR (pulled the power plug for at least 30 seconds)
Ran the diagnostics and the Remote DVR still reports not applicable.
