Last week, was successfully able to play the Today Show on my iPad using Verizon Mobile and playing over Apple TV with AirPlay. Today, I get the error "Airplay and HDMI is not supported while streaming from yourmedia server. However, these are supported while streaming LiveTV from the Cloud or OnDemand content." Error FM0049. What are the alternatives here? I thought that playing from Verizon Mobile WAS live TV? Also, why did it suddenly stop working?

2nd ticket submitted received the following response. At least this explains why it WAS working, and then it stopped working in January:
the app is behaving as it should because at the start of the year Verizon began securing the video streams with AES 128 encryption. We apologize if this was a frequently used feature.

For some reason, Verizon has decided that streaming DVR content to your TV is not allowed not sure why it worked the first time). But streaming other channels is allowed (probably because you can do it online as well).

Hey there, and thanks for taking the time to respond! I didn't specify, but I was trying to watch streaming TV content. This was not a DVR recording. Any other ideas? Does this work for anyone else out there (i.e., iPad running Fios Mobile and sending to Apple TV via AirPlay). Thanks for any thoughts!

Issue a trouble request via the help menu of the APP.
They should be able to help you work it out.

I would like to add my comments to this
(but sadly have no solution)
I also was able to do this previously,
(and one of the key reasons I stayed
with FIOS)
The "error" message, says "Airplay and
HDMI not supported from your Media Server.
However these are supported while streaming
Live TV from the cloud, or On Demand content"
(OK, this is progress, I can now play my DVR
content in my own house. Yay!)
However, I have 2 other STB's, why couldn't
I connect to one of those to stream, rather than
having to stream from Cloud?

The only STB you can stream from is Quantum.
It has all of the tuners so it doesn't make sense to try and stream from an IPC as it doesn't have its own tuner.

The other STB don't have tuners?
(I thought just one tuner, but the DVR
<that's Quantum>? has multiple tuners
to be able to record multiple shows)

<sorry sent too soon>
SO, to my mind, AS IT HAD WORKED BEFORE,
streaming from the "cloud" is an additional hit
on bandwidth.
If I can get DVR content from my own network
why can't I (continue) to get LIVE TV?
