Green or Black Screen

Here is my issue. I received the 1.6.2 update. Since then I have been experiencing interruptions every so often. The sound will stop, the picture flickers and the screen goes green for a few seconds. Then the picture comes back. I reset and reset and reset and.......well you get the idea. I am getting a little tires of resetting. Motorola needs to get their act together and get a better DVR box.

I am connected through HDMI and tried the Composite Cable, but the picture was not as sharp. My only other solution id to go back to DirecTV or get a Tivo Box. If I get a Tivo Box does anyone know if Verizon issues the M-Cards (I think that is the one card). Will I still be able to record one show while watching another? I know I will need a subscription, but that is better that not knowing if the Motorola Box will work one day to the next. If Tivo can"t help than I guess its back to DirecTV.

Make sure you are using component cables (not composite).  Component cables should not degrade picture quality compared to HDMI.  The only difference you will see is if your TV's picture settings are different for each different input selected.  Because of this, some calibration may be required when switching cables.

Most markets have m-cards, you can call up to sales and they will probably not know. But they can get a hold of the department that will be installing it for you, and they should be able to relay the info for you. Thats how I found out. I dont think there are many markets that still have the s-cards, just to bad mine does in WNY.
