I am considering the move to Fios HD from DirectTV and I would like to know how many shows can be recorded at the same time with the HD DVR. Every now and again there are 2 shows on at the same that I would like to record. Thanks for the help.

The FiOS DVR has two tuners, so you can record up to two programs at a time. While recording those two, you can watch either of the programs being recorded, or you can watch a program that you have previously recorded. You cannot record two programs and watch another "live" from a third channel.
