How do I hook up an LG DP132 DVD player which came with cable with 3 plugs on each end to Fios Box model CHS335HDC with cable with 5 plugs on each end and my tv, a panasonic model TC-L37U3 where all the plugs are taken up by the 5 plugs from verizon box? Any Ideas? Verizon is no help at all.  Thank You.

You don't connect it to the cable box. Everything needs to be connected  to the tv. Sounds like your TV doesn't give you enough  connection  options.

Thanks, but I had a DVD player hooked up previously, but do not understand or remember how I did it. Why does Fios need all 5 spaces?

Hello!

Your correct, the Verizon box should not be taking up 5 ports. From the Verizon box to the TV, is it connected by a wire with three connectors, colored like this?

If that isn't what you see connecting from the Verizon box to your TV, Please let me know. If it is, read on.

To save space, you should connect the Verizon box over HDMI. This would only take up one port instead of 3.

Your TV (according to the tech specs) can run off HDMI. The port on the back of both boxes will look like this:

All you would need to connect from one box to the other would be an HDMI Cable, which can be found on Amazon or your local electronics store.

Then, for the DVD player, connect up the Yellow, Red, and White cables to the TV after you've switched the Verizon box over to HDMI.

Also, a photo of the back of your TV/Converter box would be helpful if possible Smiley Happy

This TV has 5 plugs for Component and audio input which it sounds like you are using.  If also has two HDMi Ports.  You probably are best to use the HDMI for your STB connections.  If your DVD doesen't have HDMI but does have Component outputs, then these red-green-blue video and left right audio connections would be used.
