Wow, I got IMG1.9 a few hours ago and I've got a crisis already! How do I disable the multiroom DVR capability? My 86-year-old mother now has the capability from her DVR to accidentally erase the recordings on my DVR...and it WILL happen. Any ideas?

That IS what I meant. At the moment, I couldn't have cared less about having the MRDVR feature. It would be nice to block it from certain DVR's, but evidently that is not possible, so I wanted it OFF completely. I have given up on that pipe-dream and am going instead with a DVR swap to put a 6416 in Mom's hands, and her 7216 in Wife's hands. Nuff said. Problem is solved (as good as it can be).

A new feature of 1.9 is that you can delete recordings from other boxes, however it requires a few button presses and answering the right prompts, don't worry.

No solution huh? Well I guess I'm stuck. At least there is the new Restore function. We'll see how deep that goes. Anyone wanta swap their 6416 for a 7216?

Since MRDVR is an "extra" feature I believe Verizon can turn it off if you call them. When they installed my DVR's the installer had to enable the MRDVR feature with my package.

Problem is not solved. All boxes can access the DVR, including the 6416 which is a DVR. YOu need to call Verizon to turn the feature off then if you don't want it. Switching boxes around will not help.

It's not an inaccuracy, maybe the multihub feature of 1.9 hasn't kicked in yet. You'll see it eventually unless there is a way to turn multihub off which I'm not sure of.
