Install of FIOS TV ONE and GB internet service

In approximately 10 days Verizon will be installing TV ONE and I will be upgradind to GB internet service. Verizon is coming to my home to do the install at no charge. Anything I should be aware of or ask the service tech for?

If you have access to your garage from inside your house have him put the ONT(Optical Network Terminal) INSIDE your garage near power outlet.

Easy to keep an eye on the status of  all the "lights" on the ONT.

It would help others to offer other suggestions if you would describe your house "layout".

ONT  already installed for existing FIOS next to the Electrical Cabinrt in the basement.  The FIOS router is also in the basemment in an office we use.  I also have a Netcom Orbi mesh system with satellites installed on the first and second floors.  Get excellent wireless thoughout the house.

If possible have the minis hooked up by coax. Many people report problems using minis wirelessly regardless of the quality of their wireless network.
