Are you saying that there "is" or "will be" new media manager software available?? If so, when, if you know?? I was under the false impression (when first subscribing to Fios) that the media manager meant I could stream VIDEOS as well from my computer. What a disappointment. But if it's in the pipeline, that's at least a start. I just hope it gets here before DVR'S WITH DECENT SIZED HARD DRIVES arrive.

You will not be able to get the video tab until the new media manager software is out, not the STB firmware.

i have used the new media manager software, if you look around in some places you can find it. its pretty terrible, i would rather just watch the video on my computer, or hook the computer directly into the tv.
For me, there is really no point in streaming a video that you can't fast forward/rewind. Not to mention that the UI that's a part of that software is abysmal.

I am a beta tester for Media Manager. Most beta tester don't know that you have to change the settting for bit rate in the video settings to the highest setting, I think its about 5100Kbs.
Anyway, the viedos are GREAT. Smooth and no problems. Also what testers have to realize is the quality of the video that is playing. I use 720p vids, they are working great, I just finished watching Nemo and it looked good.
What I am saying is, give them a little time to work a few of the bugs out and to me it would be worth the extra $$.
