Missing local channels Boston area - Again

502, 504, 505 and 508 - channel not available at this time

Am I the only person who gets this?  seems to happen fairly regularly, like a few times every week.  Was watching local news on 504 at 6am when picture gradually disappeared.  It's as if there is something wrong with the signal as you get splotches of color and then nothing.  other 3 channels had also disappeared as had TBS on 552

Just after 7am everything is working again.

Is this some maintenance that VZ is doing?

Never seen this.  I think you need a service call.  Sounds like your signal strength is marginal

Haven't ever had this problem on the South Shore.

OK, thanks.

Something wrong with router anyway.  Currently only an 8 port gigabit switch connected to it.  If I connect anything else to it the connection comes up and then after about 1/2 minute drops and so does all internet access for all devices.

Quite correct, finally tracked it down to a loose connection on a barrel coupler.
