I have 2 Panasonic HD TVS. I cannot get either of them to attach to a Verizon HD cable box that does not have a multi room DVR or any DVR. I can attach them to a Verizon HD Multi Room DVR without a problem.
I contacted tech support and they had me change cables, change TV locations and all the normal PD determination.
I attached an Insignia HD TV to the Verizon HD cable box that does not have any DVR. It works fine.
What is happening.
Thanks.

Please provide information on Verizon hardware. DVR and STB model numbers and what type of connection you are trying to make.
There have been reports of various issue regarding HDMI cable connections, if that is what you are having issues with. We would need to know which model # is working with which TV, and which model # boxes are not working with which TV.
There have been various TV manufactures that have not made available HDMI firmware updates to their TVs, and the solution is to use component cables which will provide the same picture resolution and quality. Yes more cables and not as clean a setup, but it works.

All my TV's are Panasonics and all are attached via HDMI with no problems (1 is lcd and the other 2 are plasmas ) so am at a loss as to what to recommend - did you change the tv input to match the way you are connected for ex: input 1 - hdmi 1 etc? that is the only thing that I can see would cause this if your input option is wrong
