Since upgrade when watching one channel and recording another, the picture / sounds become pixelated. When I stop the recording it stops. If I suffer though it and then watch the recorded program it has the same problem. If I record something during the night it is fine. The picture is perfect if not recording anything. Only happens on the living room DVR (we have 4 others), but that one is the large disk one. Everything was fine before the upgrade.
Have you powercycled the DVR? We can also try some other things with you but we'll need to discuss the account via PM. Please unplug the power from the DVR and reconnect it and then send me a PM if the issue persists.
I have tried most everything. Unplugged Dvr and modem and a bunch of other things from forums. Like I said though, everything was fine until we got the new STB program, so I believe it has to be software related.
