Poor Reception for HD on Demand Programming

Whenever I try to order on demand HD programming from Cinemax, Showtime...etc, the program starts and is unwatchable due to interference on screen (picture and sound breaks up).  This is using the standard Motorola HD STB with a Samsung HD TV.  I have no trouble viewing any other HD programming, just the on demand.

My wireless hub BTW is the older Actiontec modem.  Could this be a possible cause?
