preset channel

Can I set up my fios TV to go to a preset channel?  For example, I want to set my tv to come on in the morning and to come on at a particular time and on a particular station.  Is this possible?

One more step....disable the timer that automatically turns the STB off after a predetermined number of hours.

I don't believe that the STB can be programmed to turn on at a certain time. If the television has the ability to do that, consider turning the STB to the desired channel, program the TV turn on time, turn the TV off but leave the STB on.
