Problem with Remote DVR activation...

Okay, I made sure I have access to Remote DVR but it did not prompt me to initiate it when I logged into www.verizon.com/fiostvcentral. In fact, when I login, it just takes me back to the main page overview of my account but mentions nothing about Remote DVR being a part of the services I am paying for. I'm wondering if someone can give me more clear directions on how to activate the Remote DVR feature (not the one for wireless phones but the one for internet use). Any help is greatly appreciated!

click that big red activate button when you login 😉 That will get the online version working for ya pm me if you need additional assistance with that.

I'm in Irving TX and having exactly the same problem.  Clicking on the red Activate Button does nothing but return to the same page.  Tech support told me that the system version (available under settings, system information) had to be 1.62, but mine is 1.60.  Is this correct?  Is remote DVR available in Irving TX?  If so, how do I get the firmware version to update?

There is not 1.62 unless they slippd it by without anyone knowing about it.

Same problem. I have been with Tech Support for a week now trying to figure out how to activate. Every tech-support person has no idea what Remote DVR is. I have to explain the process in detail each time. Even had a tech person take control of my computer after I signed on to my account so they could see the screen. The following is the page that comes up when I log in. No activation page. Any help would be appreciated.

Please check back again in 24-48 hours. If you still don’t see the option to activate your Remote DVR service then leave us feedback and we will verify your account right away. We appreciate your patience. 

Also, please note that Remote DVR service works only with the Verizon supplied routers with no changes to default router configuration. For more information visit the FAQ page.

Hello dev01,

At the upper right of the forum pages, you will see a white envelope that looks like this -->  Click on that and type in the username of the forum member you'd like to send a message to.  PM = Private Message.  When you receive a private message from another member, the envelope will be gold like this --> .
