The fan on our DVR is ramping up and down a few times every seconds. It's goes from very loud to quiet and loud again. It's well ventilated and we've had it a long time in the same spot with no problems. What's the best way to get it replaced?

We would be glad to assist with this. One cause for fan revving is from decreased performance caused by dust buildup. If you already have a can of compressed air (I am not suggesting you go out and buy it, simply if you already have one in the home) please spray out the fan well. If you are still having problems with it revving up, please reply back to let us know.
