I'm considering moving to FiOS but I have a question about the DVRs. I have two TVs and would like to have a DVR on each one so each can independently record up to 2 shows. But I have a question about Verizon's DVRs. If I record a show on DVR #1 can I watch it on DVR #2? Any info you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

If you get the multiroom feature as well, you can watch the recording on each dvr.

Is that the multi-room dvr that is $19.99 a month...or is that a feature in the "normal" DVR?

The $19.99 fee is for the multi room DVR.

The Multi-room DVR can record two shows at the same time (it has two tuners).
When it is recording one show, you can watch anything else you want.
When it is recording two shows, you can watch either of those two shows from any point in the recording, anything already recorded, or any on-demand program.
Other non-DVR set-top-boxes in your home can access the DVR recordings at any time. Of course, they can access any live TV channel at any time.
Enjoy!

We have 2 separate DVRs like you are talking about- not the multi-room DVR. You are correct that on these, you can't watch what you have recorded on one DVR in the other room. You'd have to have the multi-room DVR for that, and that does limit how many things you can record/watch at one time.

So with the multi-room and a standard dvr, I can transfer programs back and forth between the two? Or is it just from the multi-room to the standard dvr?

ONce you upgrad to multi-room all DVR's you have are multi-room. You can't transfer programs between them but you can watch from any DVR to any stb or other DVR.
