RCA jack inputs

I have the QIP6416 STB and want to use the other inputs. Can I? How do you swith to them? The input selector on the remote turns close captioning on and off.

The inputs on the front of the box are not active.

None of the inputs are active and neither are the USB nor E-SATA (if your box has it).

I just switched from Brighthouse. The jacks were active. This is where my kids could plug in their game systems and also I could plug my video or digi camera into the rca jacks. Recording was also active on these jacks. This was a nice feature.

That's exactly the reason I would like mine to work. Where's Brighthouse. I live in Tigard, OR.
