Replacing tube tv with LCD TV

We are getting a new LCD tv in our bedroom to replace our old tube tv.  Do we need to get a new set top box?   This is not the main dvr.  This is the extra set top box.

If you are going to replace your old CRT with a new LCD, you will have to get a new set top box if you want to watch HD content. If you don't, your new TV will look like the old one-I suggest a new set top box w/ HD.
