I used to have no problems with logging into these apps. I just renewed my service and upgraded to the larger capacity DVR (I think it's called quantum). I have the fios TV ultimate HD plan, which includes all of the movie channels. After I ugraded I had to sign in and register with a new username. When I try to log on and verify my plan through the showtime or HBO go app, it tells me that I must subscribe to Fios TV. How do I get this fixed? I am subscribed to all of the channels, however I cannot log in to any of the apps, including HBO Go, Showtime Anytime, FX Now, Epix, etc.

You are asking peers here. The following is a solution I have posted many times.
A bunch of things lead to problems loging into HBO GO and many other Online Channel sites.
The general way it works is for you to go to HBO GO site. Ask to look at something and it switches in a FRAME pointing to VERIZON and you signin. Verizon stores some information in flash and returns. That information must still be there so that HBO accepts you as authorized.

I am still having the same issue after attemtping to do all of those things. It doesn't seem to be a problem of connecting and signing into verizon. It is just that when I do sign on, verizon is somehow reporting that I do not have service and must sign up first, even though I am already a subsriber to all of the channels. I keep getting the error that I must subscribe to fios TV first. Has anyone else had this issue???

Are you using your primary Verizon user name? If not, then you must enable these services for seconday account names by signing into My Verizon with your primary user account. And you need to confirm parential control settings for each seconday account, along with the primary.

I believe your problem is in the fact that you said that you had to sign up and register a new username. For a service change you shouldn't have to do that. If you canceled your old service and got new service, you would need to activate service on activate.verizon.net. this is the only place you can create a username that will let you log into other sites.
Do not use the register at the top of the verizon.com page.
If you did not get new service your old username should work. Premium channels do sometimes require you to accept terms of service again on the same activate.verizon.net page. If so the page will skip the create username part and just do the terms of service.
On active.verzon.net. try to use the order number from the last change to made. If you have done terms of service and it has been 24 hours since your order complete, call tech support.
