Skip, Chapter Selection & Recording Time Index seem broken

I cannot skip nor select a chapter on recorded programs.

I can sometimes see thumbnails on chapters, but if I select a chapter, it does not play where I selected it, but wherever the current playback left off.

Also, the timeline recording bar seems to be stuck and not reflective of the actual recording being played back.

Any suggestions or does Verizon know about these bugs.

What type of STB?

Is is locally on the DVR or remote?

Hi,

The STB is the new Quantyum DVR, configured with the only TV in the house.

The problem is consistently demonstratable from any of three remotes.

Have you tried powering the box off and back on?

Seems to cure several ills on the VMS.

Hoping that upcoming software release elminates that need.

Yes, that did not fix that, but thanks for the suggestion.

Verizon must have done something recently as the problem has been fixed.

Yes. Software release last week fixed those issues.
