Have a Sony Bravia 52 inch TV. Rather frequently, the sound will start to break up and then no sound is present. If I flip to another channel, it comes back. Checked cable connection which are okay, picture does not pixelate or break up.
is it happening on more than one tv? if it's just the one tv then the problem is isolated to the box or the tv or the cable coming from the wall to that one tv.
My guess would be that its the cable, I have had that problem and disconnecting and reconnecting that coax cable (rf in or fios tv in) is usually enough to fix it, it might also be the box itself. you can try rebooting from within the menu by going to menu
