Make sure Show Clock is checked in settings...this can be found, MENU -> Settings -> Set-Top Box -> Front Display.
If you verified that it is set like that try the following...set it to SHOW CHANNEL, then exit, go back again and set it to SHOW CLOCK.
I had to do it on my father's cable box after the IMG update/power outage (dont remember exactly...)
