Trying to set up Mobile Remote app - can't find widget on TV!

Hey,

I've downloaded the phone app and set up the wireless network...now following the directions, I go to widgets on my TV.  This just launches a small bar above/below the TV picture and shows like AP news, fantasy football and hot picks for movies or something.  I can''t figure out how to get to the screen on my TV to find the Mobile Remote widget...I've searched everywhere in the settings and menu - and can't find any help online.

Follow these steps to get to the FiOS Mobile Remote widget:

  1. Press the Widgets button on your remote. The Widgets bar will show up.
  2. Navigate left and right till you see the "FiOS TV Widgets" widget. Its icon is a big red box with a W on it. Press OK to launch it.
  3. The main FiOS TV Widgets menu will be displayed. Use the arrow keys on your remote to select the "Featured" category, then select FiOS Mobile Remote
  4. Select "Launch" to start the widget.

From there, you should be good to go.

 "Does not work" is a very open ended statement.

Does not work as in does not control the TV? Or as in couldn't find the Widget? Or as in could not register the mobile device?
