Upgrade from standard STB to hi-def STB.

I have had Fios TV since 12/07.  I was given the Motorola 2500 Standard Def STB which works fine but I am missing out on the full capabilities of my TV.

Is it possible to upgrade from the 2500 to the 7100 without changing my plan.  My current plan does not expire until 12/09.  I am happy with the service but would like to have a Hi-Def STB.  I know that the HD STB is about $4.00 more a month, that is ok.  I just don't want to change my current plan or pricing.  Does anyone know if this is possible?

no you won't change your plan just your STB  and will pay the difference between the 2 boxes that's all

I just rec'd a mailer from Verizon for a free upgrade to an HD STB.
