Using Samsung TV remote for FiOS?

Is this possible with correct settings, or am I limited to FiOS remote?

If your Samsung remote has a setting for CABLE BOX then it is possible you will get LIMITED control over the STB (try Motorola or Genreal Instruments [prior incarnation of Moto STB group]).  If it is a DVR, most other brand remotes won't control the DVR functions.
