Watching On Demand for more than 24 hours

Is it possible to watch one of the free on-demand choices for more than a 24 hour period?  I was watching a movie that I started one day and was going to finish it a couple of days later (picking it up where I left off) and it was gone from my recently viewed choices and I had to start it over again and slowly FF to the point where I was.

Hey mdr277 unfortunately all VODs are set to a 24 hours play period that's why you had to start over with the movie you was watching free or ordered.
