What's in the clear?

I have the Extreme TV pkg, and was wondering if I connect directly to my PC which has a QAM equipped Multi TV Tuner Card what channels I would receive?

Would I get all the HD channels,  some of them or none of them, only the local broadcast HD channels, only SD channels and would I get those only by connecting to the analog tuner.

Also - The DCT700 digital adaptor appears from checking on-line to only have a coax & RCA outputs.  I'm assuming that the coax is analog which would mean that this device can only be used to supply SD TV.

Correct, the DCT700 does not receive HD channels.

Clear QAM's are all the channels you get from 2-49 plus all your local HD's, all the Music Choice & URGE Radio channels and about a half dozen others.

If you have a qam system with cable card you will get everything, qam/clear qam (no cable car) you will get local broadcast SD and HD, and some audio music channels. Both will require vista with TV pack installed, or windows 7 beta.

As for the DCT700 you will only pick up the SD channels.
